Hence James must be kept under close control,
collaborators, warning given each:
"Protect king's throne, this thy first sacred goal,
else be assured, false knights', disloyal domes will roll.

Duke Morley gave King Laurence honored sword
and kneeling low didst speak to Liege of fame.
With gravest tone duke made reply then toward
all England's greatest Sire of noble name.
"Pledge I this day such rogues soon I will tame
and keep for thee this great and wondrous isle
should these unlawful powers seek to claim.
Thus know for certain I'll split spleens of guile.
Strong Liege, nefandous deeds give my mouth sourish bile."
