Array ( [sid] => 20181 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Sit and cry [time] => 2003-07-09 14:05:00 [hometext] => This poem is about a strong man who hides his emotions and the need to be loved until he is alone. In some ways, this man could be any of us. [bodytext] => One by one
I count them as they fall
Each one with pain
And agony so raw
I can't stop them
No matter what I do
So clear and pure
Yet I feel so deep blue
More and more
As my heart wrenches tight
Hands hide my face
From my vision and their sight
No one must know
That this man is not strong
And that true love
Is what I need and long
They will never know
How I truly feel inside
And most importantly
The true reason why
So let them pour free
From the wells in my eyes
Because tonight
I will..

so very well written, it's sad that men are not allowed to show how they feel

you`ve done a very good job here, in war,
or peace some of the strongest and fierce
men cry. but that one part you added [alone]
i think that will bring any man to his knees.

Though I am not a man (wink, wink) I understand your poem. Everyone needs to cry sometimes, though I think we all deny ourselves that natural right. Someone once said to never be sorry for anything God created, and tears are his creation. I hope you never again feel the need to cry alone........ You have friends at your side, we're only a call away.

You touch me once more.....
