With a tentative but courageous smile…to the knife they go,
This pair co-joined…have given the world their glow.
An uncertain fate…but steadfast they have decided,
Beaming smiles…their hopes to the world they have confided.

Oh what courage…this beautiful pair…so many lives have enriched,
In a gorgeous way…they have left us all bewitched.
One or both may lose life…there is no guarantee,
But if courage is the gauge…both will live and be free.

I ponder in disgust at my woes…seem so insignificant and small,
The charm and bravery of these two…with dangers so tall.
I am refreshed by this duo…humanity thrills me again,
I pray as millions do now…for their lives…we all say amen.

And even if one or both fail to cling to life,
They have indeed changed the mood of this world of strife.
For they will have empowered many to challenge great odds,
And I am sure they will be welcomed…In the kingdom that is Gods.

But let us all hope we will again see those smiles,
Separated and healthy…let them lay us in the aisles.
Let us savour the moments as we watch them live,
For these two lasses…in life or death…have so much to give.

Written for the co-joined sisters as a dedication, I find their courage breathtaking…it is a sorely needed tonic for this world…let us all pray for them…these two have made an indelible impression on me and countless millions…in this sad and hurting world it is a wonderful interlude…three cheers to them.
