Array ( [sid] => 20122 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => I Am [time] => 2003-07-08 08:35:00 [hometext] => ** I wrote this for my english class in the beginning of sophomore year then she had us do anothe later on... this is the first version, so enjoy ^_^ ** [bodytext] => Cream – A caring and kind shade, the color of relaxed and daydreams.

A dog – Always loyal to its friends, and a companion for life.

I will try my best, be my best, do my best, but I will also often fail…

Christmas – A time where families are supposed to be one instead of far apart. What I always wish for in my own…

“Ironic” – “It’s the good advice that you just didn’t take… It’s like meeting the man of your dreams and then meeting his beautiful wife…” the story of my life.

I want to feel the warm of love from another, but it seems that can never be.

13 – Like the flip of a coin, chance is the only thing depending on how things turn out.

Fire – A burning, fiery passion within the soul, always burning brighter. Reds, oranges, yellows… creating the fire, setting it a flame.

I used to dream sweet dreams, of being something great… but now they are gone.

Drums – A low murmur at most times and then a lurid thundering boom at when it is most unexpected.

Suburban – Smoothing running across the road, softly lulling you into a calm sense of peace and happiness. Reliable and durable for the times to come.

I will never smile for true again…

A futon – Comfort in anyway, there when you need to relax and calm down from the stress of everyday.

Strawberries – Sprinkled with light dewdrops of morning, always fresh and sweet.

I let go of the ones I care about, for the benefit of others…

Whistle – A subtle sound, showing simple approval, then maybe something more.

Theater – A place to get away from all of life’s troubles, and dip into the make-believe worlds of romance, comedy, and adventure.

I have forgotten what it is like to feel pain. I am use to the heartache that comes with being a human being.

Fly – Soaring through the clouds, higher and higher. Never wanting to come down. Dreaming of the wonders that await ahead.

A square – A frame of my life, four equal sides. Identical. And yet they never seem to be together entirely.

I remember a time when I thought that love was the genuine bond of all. But, I guess was wrong…

A daisy – Most innocent of all flowers, but underestimated in the overall outlook.

December – White powder softly falls over me. The sound of a tender melody plays softly all around you. Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
