Array ( [sid] => 20085 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Confessions To A Candle's Flame [time] => 2003-07-07 15:35:00 [hometext] => A song about how much thrilling your life is when your first falling in love...and how every day has new meaning. Sort of describes life before love as to life w/ love [bodytext] => My skin is strong as steel tonight
No one's ever made me feel this right
Life holds no release

Nothing can break through my space
A place with you which I embrace
The lonely road has ceased

Cause i've reached the
Time in life where everyone seems to be falling
Into the arms of someone else
And am I dreaming?
The windows never shone so bright
The stars, they look like rain tonight
And it's getting so much easier
To tell myself that I'll wake up to
Another day with you
This is my life...
Thank you for this life

All I ever wanted
Was someone who could see beyond my flaws

Winter nights I stood
Burning confessions over candlesticks
Locking my thoughts within soft picks
At my guitar and writing it all down
So i could sulk over what it was I'd found
Alone, I would never survive

I've reached that time
In everybody's life where flowing by yourself
Just makes you want that someone else
And when I'm with you
This all feels like a dream
Watching sunsets blaze in colors far from pastel haze
Just holding onto you
I know that I can make it through the night
With one last look into your eyes
I'll close my own and drift off softly
Just another night
Knowing I have someone like you
To look forward to in the morning. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 146 [topic] => 34 [informant] => flirtyrockstar [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )
