Forever in the cell of the hollow dark cold heart
beaten by the man she loved pushed and shoved.

Love makes a person vulnerable
because an open heart can take much abuse
such betrayal and cruelty is a deadly combination
getting away from it is the only sensible thing to do
but one also can think of getting satisfaction
by turning the loved one into a damned thing.
