A scar she let fade retraced with a razor blade
Deep incisions flatter her soft ivory skin
Haven't you heard? This summer, red's in.
And the only red she's ever worn is her own blood
But she wears it with such flair
And she scribbles down these notes
All these dreams and hopes and fears she's forever kept inside
These ideas and unachieved goals will be her dying words
As she longs for a taste of suicide
This white carpet has been stained scarlet
By her scars retraced, memories replaced
By suicide's inspiring sweet taste
And she slips off to a world, a world where she can't feel
A world fashioned by the sleeping pills
A world she wishes was real
But it's not real, as nothing good ever is real
At least thats the way it seems
Because the only time when she feels right
Is when shes in her dreams
Because the real world, it's all so dark and cold
And no one seems to care
So she once again wears the red
And she wears it with such flair [comments] => 7 [counter] => 191 [topic] => 36 [informant] => TeenageEmoGirl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

all that passion running red, makes me sad
the thing is because she wears it with such flair
that some real good things should die, it ain't fair.
