Array ( [sid] => 19949 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => The angel [time] => 2003-07-04 23:05:00 [hometext] => This Poem is dedicated to my sister Cindy Casselman for all she has done as my mom passed away on june 29 2003 [bodytext] => The Angel

When times were bad and things got rough
And we were all feeling so blue
You have made them not so tough
You’re always there to pull us through
The angel

I know growing up I‘ve made you mad
And never saw the heart you had
In the last few years I’ve seen the light
I think now I sleep better at night
The angel

I think it started when cancer struck Dad
I really saw the heart you had
You were always there to help mom
When she was down and things looked glum
The angel

As the years have past and not to be bold
I really see your heart of gold
For as a brother I am glad to say
You are my sister and you’re here to stay
The angel

Then cancer struck mom and dare I say
Your were there again to save the day
You stayed by her till the very end
Even when your heart did bend
The angel

In the last few weeks what I have had to do
Was step in your shoes for a day or two
I did my best and hope you know
To do it again I really don’t know
The angel

I said that night in the Hospital Lounge
That your were an angel sounded profound
Now all is over and our parents both gone
I now know what I meant was not profound
The angel

So to have walked in your shoes for that day or two
Has really shown me a thing or two
So from this day on you will always mean
That your are an angel and this I have seen.
The angel

In Memory of Mom and Dad

Yours is a heartfelt poem...Don't run away
When things calm down, write some more
poems for us...Does Voxon mean what I
think it does?
