Wanting to express in words,the beauty of this land
My eyes fall on the distant hills,a blanket of wildflowers
All around I feel her love,Mother nature and her powers
Nearby there flitters here and there,reds,blues and greens
The colours of the tiniest birds, that I have ever seen
They move in constant silence,yet still their beauty sings
And too the flowers gently sway,to the dance of their wings
Laid back in this meadow, the winter sun tickles my face
I smile deep within my soul,as I'm reborn unto this place
A soft crisp breeze whispers through,my hair upon the ground
So soothing to my senses,A Mothers love without sound
This day is like a painting,a masterpiece of coloured sighs
And still it's being brushed,right before my very eyes
Every moment there are changes,alterd shades,different light
And as I sit in silent repose at the tranquility of this sight
She bathes me in her scented breath,all her wordly charms
And welcomes me into her heart,to hold me in her arms
So touched by this moment,to feel a little less alone
With closed eyes I say a prayer to give thanks for her,my home [comments] => 1 [counter] => 145 [topic] => 27 [informant] => LovingWhispers [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )
