It is very clear to us that unless the newly born
are received into this world
with open arms and all the love and care
that the collective humanity is capable
they will be arriving into an unfair, cruel environment.
The ultimate mission for us all who are
the living human residents of Earth
is to prepare the ground for life to sprout
into the friendly environment
our World could potentially become.
To attain this, we must first assume
that this should apply to everyone
& should collectively & spontaneously
acknowledge this to be our foremost duty.
The big majority of humanity today is still
deprived of the very basic needs
like proper nutrition, health care, shelter
not to mention security and love.
Most humans still believe they own their children
and that it is their right and interest
to enforce their beliefs and convictions on them.
This is practiced regularly
with complete justification and good intentions
by even some highly educated people.
Let us first acknowledge the truth in this words
of one poet:

"Your children are not your children,
they are the children of mankind."

Only then can we wake up to the reality
that each and every one of us
is equally responsible in being here
for those who have no voice, no choice, and no fault.
That The Beloved is born each time a child is born
and our joy and duty is being there
to help it grow to its potentials
and have the finest fruits it has the capacity to bear.
After all we are not a finished process
but rather a challenge of the spirit.
We could make true civilization
if we experience a change of heart

I agree with you on almost every aspect of this beautiful narrative.Almost every aspect.
I don't feel I own my child although I do feel that my child should share some of my view points,especially on the topic of religion.I feel in this aspect,I must be very stern.I know that this child will grow up to be who she is intended to be,but a little guidance will never hurt.Also,this child is a part of me,so she will forever be "my child".I only share her with humanity.If she fails,it is in some part my failure.I,her father,am her closest link with society,thus it is my responsibility to prepare her for it.I am a firm believer in the old adage,"the apple does not fall far from the tree."No,I do not own my daughter,but I am responsible for her actions,(in youth especially).Your narrative is a very logical,if not clinical,way to look at parenting.It is almost utopistic viewpoint.What I'm trying to convey here is,until our society chips in to help raise every child to be good and all they can be,I would much rather take my chances at doing it myself.I have heard it said that,"it takes a whole village to raise a child",but I must say that I truly believe that is an antiquated statement,and with the world being in the state it is in,parents still know what is best for their children.
