She was easy to hold, so small and yet unafraid
I watched her sleep, such a peaceful angel
Her life's path yet untold
She turned sixteen on the 17th of June
She once was a sweet budding rose
Now she has turned into a beautiful bloom
Her hurt and pain used to be so easy to fix
With a loving word and a little kiss
Now it's much harder, It's now her heart involved
I miss my baby girl
But, I love the young woman now facing the world
I hope she finds HER Phantom on the very first try
I never want to see her in pain, her heart torn and tried
I don't want her to cry the same tears that I've cried
I know I can't shield her from all that will hurt
It all comes too soon I was willing to wait

Aww this is so amazing, she is really lucky to have a mother like you. And from another 16 year old...when things do get tough, it is really good to know that you have your mother there to back you up and believe me, things will get tough, but with a mothers love, it is easier to get through the problems. Great write ^_^
luv stacey
