Array ( [sid] => 1945 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Sometimes We Forget [time] => 2002-08-08 06:44:19 [hometext] => I wrote this at work today, wasn't feeling well. so I had time to think, too much as usuall!!

Lest we forget what we all have in life. Even when life itself is not holding our
Hands the way we want it to. Patience is what takes time to understand
That we need to remember how precious, not to forget a gift we all hold within ourselves.
[bodytext] => Sometimes we forget
To look around us, as we’re always in a hurry
Sometimes we forget
The time God gave us, His creations all around us
Sometimes we forget
To see someone in need, our minds are too blurry
Sometimes we forget
To give our children our time, our jobs take too much
Sometimes we forget
To tell those you love and care about, How much you do
Sometimes we forget
When they do tell us, Sometimes, it’s taken for granted
Sometimes we forget
We are blessed to be alive, even when our lives are not so enchanted
Sometimes we forget
We’re here a short time, our bodies not always fixable
Sometimes we forget
Forever means just that, but try to live in respect, honesty and not to be despicable
Sometimes we forget
Our need to be alone sometimes, some don’t know what that is
Sometimes we forget
The times that it is lonely, wishing to share time with friends
Sometimes we forget
How blessed we all really are, some have no idea
Sometimes we forget
Each one of us, have within ourselves to be strong, emotionally, mentally and physically
Sometimes we forget
That even with having all of that in us, friends still need ya!!
Sometimes we forget
To just take time to be yourself, sit back, the whole picture for you to see
Sometimes we forget
Those although we were attacked, other countries still are
Sometimes we forget
Because life hasn’t been normal, 911 seems so far
Sometimes we forget
Life is taken way for granted; we’re given such great gifts
Sometimes we forget
Our time is now, putting our hearts in God’s hands, that uplifts
Sometimes we forget
To just remember our founding fathers and soldiers who did fought
Sometimes we forget
Our Freedom is from them, God hold them dear, and their lives he had caught
