[hometext] => (This poem is about a woman living under the illusion that her abusive husband is her life).
[bodytext] => I wonder if there is such a thing as ever having a perfect life again. No more tears. No more running. Most of all no more fears. I won't have to hide and pretend. I wonder if there is such a things as never having bad dreams. No more bruising. No more hurting. Most of all no more losing. I won't have act as if everything is as it seems. I wonder if there is such a thing as not wanting my husband dead. No more scars. No more guilt. Most of all no more spars. I won't have to think it's all my fault within my head. I wonder if there is such a thing as hope. No more shame. No more hiding. Most of all no more blame. I won't have to learn how to cope. I wonder if there is such a thing as leaving this horrid man. No more caring. No more love. Most of all no more sharing. I won't have to live in this ironic illusion called my life, which really never began.
