Array ( [sid] => 19389 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => A Note Goodbye [time] => 2003-06-21 10:35:00 [hometext] => This poem was written at a point in time where I didn't want to live, kind of a fantasy of suicide. [bodytext] => Just sit still for a minute or two my dear
I've got a sad story for your ears to hear
Of a girl the world ignored
Of all the pain that she had stored
A girl so sweet, A girl so kind
A girl who was slightly out of her mind
She felt alone, and that no one could care
About her problems and life so unfair
So she kept it all inside
She never let them no when she cried
She never spoke of the times she almost died
A secret she never revealed, to me or to you,
Was that her mom beat her til she was black and blue
Another problem she kept out of our sight
Was that she cut herself almost every night
She never told how she lacked to dream
She never revealed her lack of self esteem
She didn't say much of anything to anyone
She never told a soul about the gun
The rifle she hid under her bed
The gun she'd use to shoot herself dead
Then one night it was all to much to take
She told everyone her hurt, she put her life at stake
They all laughed in her face, told her she was a disgrace
And to get the hell out of this place
She told them her pain, How she was insane
They told her to leave, she had nothing to gain
She told them how at her flesh she would tear
And not one of them showed her that they would care
So she said ***** you all, I'm leaving, goodbye
She ran to her bed, ready to die
Pulled the gun out, from beneath her bed
With one final breath, shot herself dead
Are you crying now? Do you feel bad?
Do you wish you'd have known she was so sad?
Well you should have known what to do
Because this is my suicide note to you. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 283 [topic] => 36 [informant] => TeenageEmoGirl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

The poem is terrific
-----------------------------------
The body you have is the body you've got
it works not at all after it has been shot
I think of the kids the body creates
Do you think it fair to cut of the fates.

You might some day be hesitent
which just might mean a president
So think of the kids it can create
Give us a break toward some future date...
