Rain is everywhere,
In this soggy wet place,
When will this rain stop,
pouring on my heart,
Its killing all the farmers crop,
its giving my days a bad start,
Every day I look for the sun,
but rain clouds appear,
not today there will be no fun,
as the people start to disapear,
wheres the sun,& the summer play,
we so longed for,
we wait till the end of the day,
but then it starts to pour,
No sand castles or riding bikes,
for the thunder is what I hear,
no volley ball or long nature hikes,
just put away that swimming gear,
For this rain puts a damper on things,
I cant take much more,
the kids cant even use the swings,
just looking out the door,
Wheres the sun,
Does any one know,
I need some fun,
before I see the snow! [comments] => 6 [counter] => 241 [topic] => 27 [informant] => lowman613 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )

Christina we do get a monsoon season here in the desert but there isn't a bit of rain, Im missing the rain. its blue sky sunshine blowing dirt and sand dirt devils and HEAT triple digets everyday here. We spent the afternoon in the pool to make it more pleasant yeaterday. So I have an idea lets trade, Ill give you a week of this dry heat for a week of that cool pouring rain and thunder..
