Array ( [sid] => 1920 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Dylan [time] => 2002-08-07 13:50:28 [hometext] => this is another poem writen by Lenor for a dear friend of mine after the loss of her 7 year old son who died suddenly at school from a heart condition called I.H.S.S. [bodytext] => "Dylan"

An angel went to school that morning
and took him away with out warning.
This angel gently took his hand
and led away your little man.
Family and friends will share your tears
Missing your son of seven short years.
Let them help share your grief,
your confusion, anger and disbeleief.
No more birthday parties or christmas toys
Holidays now will leave a void.
No one can ever take his place
or any of his memories erase.
Your soul is bruised and your heart is broken
for all the love left unspoken.
Nikki, you lost a son and Levi a brother
Take comfort in knowing you are a good mother.
Yes, it's hard for us to understand
why Heaven could not wait
for your little man.

just too sad for words, I can only imagine the how she must be feeling. To loose a child must be the most heartbreaking pain you could ever endure.
You wrote this poem with such tender words, it bought a tear to my eye.

It is tough to lose a child, one of the harshest realities this world can offer. I know nothing of the background of this child or his family, yet my prayers and meditations will be focused in the direction of healing. Please take a stranger's advise... the child had work to do on the otherside(believer or no), and his soul was ripe with love. Know that he is safe and happy, and will be watching over you. The angel that came that day, came for another angel, now he is your gaurdian. While you may not believe, it is important to validate your love for everyone in your life, as much as you can, for one day an angel will come for them too. Bless you and the family of this child, may your sorrow be replaced by love and forgiveness. - Jason
