broken dreams
unwanted thoughts and
not enough sleep
fear and loathing through a
time-tried facade
i'll make it through today and
***** this hot
place of places...
where today?
here we are and there we go and hard to think of what to say

pull the smoke into you
seperate the skin
look inside my thoughts and
feel the wind
rush into the void and
grab hold the unknown
wicked tendencies are
taken home

why you say those things?
why you speak?
tell me that i'm worth something but
i make you sick
tired of fighting for a
worthless cause
got all the meaning i need
i'll take the loss

i won't help you listen
i won't help you scream
time to help myself it's
time to be free
i got my own ambitions
and losing fear
gotta push my way through
find a way through here

is there

NO WAY OUT?
is there no way out?

break the barriers and
take me home
to the stage of presence
life gets cold
unwanted visions and
not enough sleep
place of places --- i will find

MY WAY OUT

my best friend once told me
words too true
only met you once but
you pulled me through
"dont be silent" she says
"art saves"
"open up your heart" and
"in art be safe"

disjointed mornings and
***** up dreams
sometimes i eat the pain
sometimes i scream

for

my way out [comments] => 1 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Krowe [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
