[hometext] => I actually wrote this poem back in 1996 for my Creative Writing class in high school.
[bodytext] => When I saw you today my heart began to pound. How long has it been since you've come around? Yesterday's memories seem so hard to bear, was there something I could have done to make you aware? Why did our love have to end this way? As I walked home, thoughts filled my head. My dreams of you are over, why should I pretend? But memories of you will remain on my mind, thinking some day our hearts will come to bind. No more elusions, our love wasn't ment to be. This just isn't right why can't you see. Tomorrow I will tell you, "Go on, your free." But just for tonight, let me be the light that guides you through the night.
