Into my waiting arms,
Where I will greet you tenderly,
And never do you harm.

Won’t you keep me warm tonight,
And flesh to flesh entwine?
You know that I am wholly yours,
And forever you’ll be mine.

Can you put your lips to mine
And gaze into my eyes?
That I might gaze back into yours
And by you be hypnotized.

Shall I hear your breathing deep,
And the beating of your heart?
May this be my symphony,
And from my ears it never part!

Will you come to me tonight,
And not just in my dreams?
May I be your servant,
And you forever be my queen?

Dear Robert,
I try to sum up a poem in one word. Your's would TOUCHING.....so delicately touching to hear another's heart so close, Touching to hear another soul entwined with yours. I can't think of any woman that wouldn't be touched by your loving words.
Wonderful poem I hope you write another soon!
Touchingly yours,
lovingcritters
Connie Sue
