That one person could do this act
Take so many people away
From their family and friends

Light a candle, shred a tear
Times are hard for everyone
Don't be bitter, don't be sad
Memories close to your heart

September 11th is Remembrance Day
To all who lost everything in one day
Taking by surprise, the world stood still
Unable to imagine how this could be real

Go outside and look above
See a star shining bright
Angels looking down
Smiling and watching out for you all

To the families of loved ones
the pearly gates open to the hearts of gold
So many angels received their wings
On that September day. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 308 [topic] => 21 [informant] => fifi [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Very fine tribute and reminder the day we all stood in awe at such tragic thing.
As angels they have their super natural wings.
Very good writing!
PEACE, JOY, ANGELS,
