I no longer want to kiss your lips
To feel their filth on mine
I don’t want to have you to hold
Without you, my world surely does shine.
I no longer want to share each day
Wrapped in your untrue love
I don’t want to be with you
My heart, alone, is free as a dove!
I no longer want to share with you
Anything I hold dear
I don’t want to whisper a single word
In your sleeping ear.
I no longer wish to share
Your hopes, dreams, and fears
I don’t want to be there with you
To wipe away your deceiving tears.
But most of all I no longer want a day
When you’d say, “I Do”
Because somewhere out there I’ll find
A real woman…someone much better than you!!!

Glad you liked it so much!!! I don't think that Melanie knows what she was missing out on, but then again, it doesn't matter, this happened a long time ago. She lied about so much...basically everything she told me was a lie....sounds fimiliar to me now that I think about it....I'm going through it all again...only this time I'm married....oh well, such is life.

Thank you for the comment on my poem. The woman I wrote this for didn't/doesn't/won't ever really know what she lost in me, but it's ok, because that was long ago, what's unfortunate is...it's all happening again. :( Such is life.
