with than folks like you [bodytext] => In the connection between marriage and poetry
In songs sung in E flat above lower C.
Here, a symphony would NOT sound so great,
Were I to appear with a face that was straight.

More to the point, when a marriage takes place,
You inheret some folks who have polish and grace,
Along with this sometimes comes yokels and trash,
I think I am accurate, and certainly not rash.

What I'm trying to say in this long about way,
I discovered a place for my poetry play,
There, I found me some guys that I love
who write their poems like they came from above.

I can't tell you how happy..it all makes me feel,
I came across people that make my work real,
We write in a void and never quite know
If we're read or ignored..until we're told so.

I love all of you, a kiss to ensue
A pat on the head, meant just for you.
A favor you ask, I'll do any task.
We'll sit on the porch and we'll bask.

I better stop now or I'll break into tears,
so, come on over for a couple of beers. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 259 [topic] => 23 [informant] => norm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 16 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FamilyPoems )

there's a jolly ring to it
my favoured line is
'like they came from above'.
