When I was young always thought life was such a breeze
Now more than ever I’m down on two knees
Can’t handle the responsibilties that I see put on me
Can’t get by hang in crowds but I’m alone and I cry
Sometimes I’m tucked under my covers and just wanna die
Only can ask why I was blessed with what I have received
Why God have you put such a barrier on me
On my own see I’m so lonely

But I gotta stay strong for so long
Gotta make sure that even when I’m dead I go on
Altho there are times I hate god cuz things go wrong
And than I realize that it’s just a test
You have to have seen the worst to be your best
Still I wonder if God hears me when I pray for help
Is he listenin’ to me when the pain is dealt?
Just wonderin’ if he is listenin’ to me

When I was young always thought life was such a breeze
