[hometext] => My friend had to over come a lot she let me in on how she got the son she never gave birth to. Enjoy!!!!
[bodytext] => I trusted you with all my being How fake you were is all I am seeing Why couldn’t you let me have my moment of glory? Why did you have to go and tell everyone that false story? Don’t you see every time you tell a lie? It makes one more person see through you and sigh Why would you try to bring me down? Don’t you see you are making yourself look like a clown? Take another shot of the liquid in that syringe Act like you don’t notice everyone who walks by cringe You are a disgusting sight with holes up your arm When did you stop caring, when did you stop seeing the harm Why would you not get help when I did? You were so little when you started, just a kid Now you have a little one of your own you need to take care of Along time ago you said there is one thing that can over come anything, love I watched you every night through a little more of your life away I tried to help you but you called me every name in the book and pushed me away I held you the other night as you cried in my arms saying you were tired You wanted to quit but you didn’t know any other way to deal with just being fired You handed me your baby boy and told me to watch him for the night I took the baby thinking it would be like any other time and you would come for him at first light Little did I know I would be the one coming to identify your corpse in the morning? I know the next few weeks your son, for you, will be mourning I cried at the sight of you curled and naked on the floor with a needle by your side I won’t tell your son the way they found you, the way you died I will give you the dignity but why, why couldn’t you stop for your son I hope now you can see what damage your addiction has done But I promise to raise your son like he was my own And make sure he won’t have to face any problem alone I hope to be able to help him, unlike the way I was unable to help you But I promise weather it be rain or shine we will make it through Now that you are gone our pack that we made will go on till I die We will be together forever even if we don’t see eye to eye [comments] => 0 [counter] => 261 [topic] => 43 [informant] => daydreamer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
