Be prepared to tumble because surely you will fall
Once you learn the secret
A mother does mean all.

I wake up in the morning with an empty heart.
My room is filled with sunlight
Yet I am in the dark.

I would give my heart and soul
If I could sit by her side.
Freezing still the moment
Just before Mom died. [comments] => 9 [counter] => 319 [topic] => 48 [informant] => joni553 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Lovely write...I'm in agreement with you, since I lost my Mom when I was 23...and now I'm twice that age..and miss her so much still... but everythng she has ever taught me is still with me...and each value instilled by her...is still upheld... Loved this...thank you.
Jenni

lovely write my dear. YOu may feel lost now, but in time as you heal, but you never forget her. She is with you always, and in ways you may never have known. I do understand, I too lost my mum ten yrs. ago. at first I felt lost, but in time, I know she is with me, and is my guardian angel. take some moments to look thru some things of hers that you shared with her, and you will in time not feel sorrow, but a sense of being and as is she is right there.
take care
Amber Rose :)

touched by this short poem
which freezes the impression
your grief is well shared.
