[bodytext] => my blinking neon sign lets the whole world know
there’s a vacancy here
desolate, dusty rooms since so long ago
year after distant year
there’s an emptiness underneath
no matter how deeply I breathe
nestled below all I hold close
is a black hole I don’t disclose
holding on to hope just crushes me so hard
I wither piece by piece
the divine intricacy of all these scars
forces me to my knees
this hollowness just swallows me
I’m treading water endlessly
caverns echo sombre stanzas
latent futures hold me ransom
I’m powerless before a cruel deity
held captive and restrained
victim to her callous spontaneity
as my will slowly drains
a melancholy mood descends
and colours everything again
the vacant space that lives inside
has started breathing; open wide

I have seen these times and although I teeter on the line sometimes I will never go back to that place. I figure I was lucky to survive once but not twice. A very deep, dark, and powerful piece. |

This touches my heart. When one is in that dark frame of mind it seems we will never see the light again. Have hope though my friend. You have the ability to make it through this and in that process you get stronger. Beautifully written.

All too well a reader can know this pain and feeling, and to our thanks we can feel the hope for its end.
The second third and fourth stanzas all worked so well together that I found myself while reading emit an "ooh" in appreciation. Especially the latter couplet of that third stanza.
Well written :)

That cruel deity can not hold you for ever
you are already breaking the spell
keep fighting |

dont know where to
go some days then
the spirits catch the breeze
uneven and incidental
intricacies misguided
waiting alone,
by the side of the road,
underneath an unmasking
night of solitude
the vastness within the
smallness along the
hillside and the clouds
you can never see
in the cloudy night sky
are like pillars
that breath
your poem into a kid
like me
an old kid
who has this
vacancy, searching
for something
I think this is a very good
poem moonlit angel
- I cant even say why
Peace!
