the breeze cause them to stir
The sands are calm
The people gone
The chilled air makes me shudder.
Darkness falls but the moon glows
adding light of an earthy color
I close my eyes and feel
the peace this island has to offer
a depth of calm casts over me as sun begins to rise
the day consumes my body like an urchin on the rise
a new day’s sun will warm me
as palm trees gently stir
my mind will drift so far away
as the clear blue water does
Vacation’s almost over, but the calmness will live on
For once you feel this splendor
Paradise will live on.
