Interesting pondering thoughts coming from such a short read.
I think there is some sad and unfortunate truth to this in that this generation and a portion of mine, are the very type to be an ill-informed, electronic-screen-focused, ill-prepared, anti-industrious and incompetent generation. I know because I/'/m a good contender for such classifications and I see them quite frequently.
Thank you for delivering that ending line too, because that really helps to seal the importance of the issue. If you/'/re not growing, you/'/re not living. A lesson I had to come to realize far too long into my life. My growing has been more like that of a bonsai tree. Beautiful to look at, but if you look into it beyond the appeal, quite lacking; quite small. |

As long as we can hide from reality and survive, we can remain children. Ultimately, though, someone has to pay the rent.
This illusion that your writing is effortless is in fact a result of your skill at elevating poetry to an art form.
