Dear love, I know you’ve just turned two
There’s a happiness around the corner just waiting for you
I never imagined I will be fortunate enough
But you being here with me is like a dream come true
You’ve started speaking a little and keep running around
You’ve started dancing and sometimes break the ground
With your awesome moves, you’re an unstoppable force
You hide my things where they can never be found
You giggle, you laugh, you sing aloud
It doesn’t take you much time to mingle with the crowd
Sometimes I wonder is it all for real
Then you jump on my chest and burst that cloud
I know you will become something great
As I know my dad had the same trait
But remember you will always be mine
No matter whatever crap has been written by fate

Children remind us that we are not infallible. Your poem is a playful description of innocent joy, ending quite unexpectedly in the adult sarcasm that separates us from our own childhood.
Your tale made me remember what it was to be a child...and to have a parent who loved me. A splendid memory. Thank you.
