the only one I`ve ever worn
could you open all your doors and windows so wide?
come with me to the other side

we were made of stars once
I knew you in orbit
found each other again
existing comorbid

burning for a thousand years
the greatest love of wild frontiers
timeless stories on and on do persevere

sometimes when I hold you I can`t get close enough
within your love I am engulfed
and I wish I could sink into you like water
into your soul I would wander

I`ll ride your every wave
as you wash over me
I gasp for air and find
your ocean I can breathe

symphonies of endless tides
I`m safely laying at your side
we come together and galaxies collide

I`ll never resist the pull of your gravity
we`ve manifested alchemy
someday our nebula will scatter through our space
to live on forever in grace

but for now, here we are
skin and bone and heartbeats
content with what we know
lose ourselves in the heat

sanctuary from the cold
my heart is bursting, uncontrolled
I`ll never be the same now that your love`s taken hold [comments] => 2 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 2 [informant] => MoonlitAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Beautifully written poem indeed.
The fourth stanza reminds me of the early Hollywood era of romantic movies. Like the 30/'/s and 40/'/s. The earlier movies weren/'/t as sophisticated as your write. A star is born.
