I saw Ruby in the corner of my garden (life), she was smiling
So, I, abandoned all my friends to see for myself
No eye contact, she said, "Do you see what I see?"
Already emotional I, "say something" she said!
(Me) "Affectionate by moonlight the belief is always there."
(Ruby) "I love summer days with winter skies." (wow!)
(Ruby) "Do you know how long Ive been waiting to say that."
(Me) "Do you know how long Ive been waiting to hear that!"

It was shifting time in our lives
It was there for all of us to see
My abandoned friends left with a different look in their eyes
Motivational vision of a life looking out to sea.

My father, (who was a giant with rainbow eyes)
Returned from the meadow faraway that day
He said, with astounding astonishment and to our surprise
"Your son is safe in the meadow today under summer days with winter skies."
Deafening silence stirred up feelings and emotions
I`m quite certain Ive never felt Im sure
Rubies tears ran like a river down memory lane
Ive never choked up like that before.
And then, in the herb garden
Our peripheral vision on our non-dominant side spotted a master piece on the horizon...
A life passing through.
(The awakening ceremony had begun.)

Gliding in from the vast ocean sea
Lily returned from her ripple effect waving her arms at me
I waved, (she came back! Why?)
In a place where I thought I was the only ones
We reminisced with her Siamese twins
Citronella, Iris, Violet and Sweet Pea who appeared from the sun.

We were all in the right place at the right time
Saying things weve always wanted to say
Over an expensive jug of wine,
Now that we have made history... we move on
We prefer to remain a mystery.

In a place where we thought were the only ones
Through the eyes of Ruby I dream
We crossed the river into the unknown
The greatest ripple effect
The world has ever seen.

This reads like a TV script, and the players are mystical. I don/'/t pretend to understand it, however it is well worth reading for the emotional roller coaster ride! Escape is sometimes the gift of poetry; and your tale takes us on a merry journey through the eyes of another.
