take apart the bones
hang the heart to dry and lay the mind to rest
tell me
where do the tired go
show me where to fix my eyes
bury the hands
my feet are too heavy to carry
your arms are a bunker
the safest place I/'/ve found for miles and miles

they don/'/t know,
some maybe might,
but for the most part
these gigantic reasons
for migration are never
collectively thought enough
about, unless you/'/ve been
in somebody/'/s shoes
and even then, you have to eventually
find a way to fit in.
No matter how long you/'/ve been there.
One might feel as though they were
always a refuge.
Peace! |

Started me thinking about what I consider refuge and shelter. We all need a place to lay our work down and sprawl.
An interesting play on words and a thought provoking message. Everyone will be asking themselves, ..who is my sanctuary?

Says a lot in a small space. Everything packed in there so cleverly
I can/'/t pick out one particular line as every one seems to fit perfectly
Nice work
