Trusting her convictions.
She vowed upon the bible;
To honor all restrictions.

The ceremony followed course;
And all held to their vows;
Before she gave her answer;
She turned to face the crowd.

The ending of this little tale;
Is different for us all;
Some see her ending happily;
Some wait for her to fall.

Where did you place her as you read?
Where was she in YOUR story?
Facing her beloved in church...
Or facing a grand jury! [comments] => 3 [counter] => 108 [topic] => 7 [informant] => softerware [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

I/'/m an optimist though depends on the situation. I thought she was in the grand jury of the church!
I was more of a pessimist on this one.
You wrote so careful as to allow the reader to decide. That was fun, hun.

Answering logically, I must assume the pessimist position.

Answering as a hopeless romantic, I grab onto the optimist.

So, like the national average on divorce rates, I/'/m around 50/50. lol.

Good poem, and I like in that it forces a question that can aught but reveal a truth in the nature of a persons outlook.

Great job!

Invierno
