what you know
but
I know
what I know
some things can not be unseen
after you see them

Intoxication
from a alternate reality
made the lyrical dam break loose
words paint the picture
of a strange pursuit
some things are better left unsaid
but still we say them

some times things are not what they seem
and it sucks
when we are in the mode
of why is this happening to me

some things can not be ignored
like a riveting drama
with a tragic ending scene
we all have a taste for the macabre
we can not turn away
we have to see

primitivism to often prevails
Irreverence becomes an import
after emotive conception fails,
so I am grooving behind the scenes
trying to stay loose
as I pursuit a strange thing,
some things I should never have been told
and I did not want to know....
but now that I know

You make a wonderful case for information overload! There are things we don/'/t need to know.

IRREVERANCE BECOMES AN IMPORT AFTER EMOTIVE CONCEPTION FAILS..what a heady line!
This generation courts data as power. Computers remember for us. Television broadcasts at us. No need to memorize.
That being said, however, it is wise to know not to pet a rattlesnake.

Nice job. "some things are better left unsaid
but still we say them"...how true. I wonder what motivates us deep inside to say things we KNOW will cause discomfort.

We area weird bunch, us advanced primates.

interesting write. certainly an honest take on humanity/'/s tendencies to not be able to turn away even when we maybe wish we did.
