In the first season
I was a seed in soil,
In the second season
I grew through sweat and toil.
In the third season
I stood patient and wise,
For in the last season
I was harvested for paradise.

Cryptic. The reader fills in the analogy, and that is seductive to the intelligence. This is an invitation to write with the writer. The table is set, and the offering can be a snack or a five course meal!
May we all be harvested for paradise - a great line reminiscent of Soilent Green!
