Metamorphosis

Contributed by softerware on Wednesday, 11th April 2018 @ 05:59:45 PM in AEST
Topic: happypoetry

Mans the only creature who can change his destiny;
A robin cannot be a swan; nor does it want to be.

There always will be others who have more than we do;
Greater thrills and finer skills we all aspire to.

So would you rather sing or swim? Consider carefully.
If what theyve got, that you have not, is what you need indeed!

Pursue your dream, but in between, make yourself a vow;
To fly and sing and do your thing; as robins will allow!

You/'/re doing your thing, fortunately for the reader.
Good reminder of where we are and the value of that place.
I like the bouncy rhythm.

I had Joy once- we won/'/t get into that now though :)
Great cheerful poem and great advice.
It is all out there if you choose to pursue it.
Wonderful!

the thing is the thing
magnificent
or half way
I know you could spend
all day long trying to get
things right,
I could triple pick this guitar
until the fingers on my left
hand start to bleed,
and they do bleed, I am
just saying, the tips
of the fingers get raw
after going over things
again and again
I am really bad at writing
but I can play the guitar
or draw a picture
or learn about technology
Simplex, use this
extravagance to understand
math.
metamorphosis, each and every is
different from the start
this is easy mcgahan
it isn/'/t it never is
the houses were close so close
row after row
the fields in between
she was a witch
in between the rows
nobody knew anything
in the first instance of anything
in the midwestern plane
jackals they were
mister and misses with
the winds misrepresented
upon their back
they were iconic factory workers
and exotic voyagers
who wrote in the tabloid
comic strip story
they were, they
bowling green, demuth, Mn
where they parked the cars

literal, babies gonna be one.

you are like me, who, just who is

SW, you are rightfully and thankfully, always
more than suitably directional.

where do you say, enough is
not enough, or we needed more.

you take a dog for walks and the dog follows step,
we are but we have fallen short.
we were wishing for something to change
all our life.

Peace!
