[hometext] => I have read alot of poetry from teens searching for something in life that they feel they are missing....this is a poem thats not for everyone, for there are alot of wonderful parents out there, but to the few who need reminded how important that we teach our children ( The leaders of tomorrow ) the values needed to be successful in life.
[bodytext] => Parents Of Today Whats wrong with the parents of today? Letting their children had too much say. Not teaching then wrong from right, Letting their children put up a fight. Setting guidelines to not be crossed Letting them know who is boss. Teach honesty, and integrity to each one, Rather it be a daughter or son. Show them how to love themselves as well as others, As they would a sister or brother. Teach the importance of life and the value of living, And that receiving isn’t as important as giving. We must plant wisdom from the seed, So our children won’t be in such need. This poem is not about slapping parents on the wrist, It’s about giving more… than just a kiss.
