A summer away from me

So I drink you up in an overdose

Hearing you say you'll miss me
And I know how much it's true
I whisper softly, sadly, honestly
That I will miss you too

I try to think of what to do
But one thought overpowers the rest

Flying off to a summer apart
A summer away from me
Not knowing where we're going
And uncertainty is all I can see

Kissing once more under the sun
Looking deep into your eyes
Wondering what the meaning is
