I think this character in this poem
sees the real you

it might be a compilation
of sounds and thought

reactions or non-reactions
the word beautiful
by itself is supposed to be

magical while at the same time
far-fetched over-used
poorly defined, even vain,
less than, skin deep

then you say creeping
the viewer, like an inanimate
group of objects that surround
the person, the one who sleeps,

and then, you use the word, fascination,
fluidly

the I fades, from view,
meaning
meaning
meaning

I like it man!

Your brain works quite well !

Etherial, sensual, and spooky!
First you scare us; then you seduce us; and then, like so many whispered promises, you evaporate in the light of day!
A smorgasbord of emotions washed over me as I read this. Powerful stuff. Visually vivid and executed in brevity. Hats off to the author!
