Prowess and power
Distress with finesse
Dancing they flower

The heavens they break
Into radiant showers
Such an elegant routine
Over thousands of hours

Dazzling through distance
Divine condensate
Eyes closed, hand on her face
Beckons and urges, his eager legs braced

His outstretched hand
Terrestrial sling
Her stellar dress sweeping
With her in a lean

Beaming they gleam
The scene of one/'/s dreams
Rocks knolls and cosmos
With space inbetween

Away she goes
Disperses in glitter
Away he falls
Crumbles in splinters

A wonderous waltz
Felt in the blink of an eye
Their story then ends

//Graceful in taste
Prowess and power
Distress with finesse
Dancing they flower

The first two stanzas were like /'/buttah/'/. I wish you had held the same perfection of flow throughout. It faltered on that initial scheme.

That said, I also fail to adhere to the first stanza schematic. It/'/s tough. Hell, even Shelly (my absolute fav of the whole bloody lot of us crazy poets) can/'/t hold it together throughout.

Mark, a brilliant poem in both content and style. You are coming alone very well.
