I wanted to share
After a long stare
No one else was there
Life soon resumed
And I went it alone
Yes she was so pretty
But in her heart and soul
She was so stone cold
Time moved on
Life grew tired and old
My story yet told
My dreams soon vanished
Simply put, not built to last
I can/'/t really say
It was such a blast
Cause all I have are those memories
Of you and I
Littered throughout my past

That feeling of being a victim
and
how they so skillfully deceived us
that
makes the memories that much worse....
I feel your pain.

The truth of others often comes sorrowful to know, and too late to avoid the sharp edge of remorse.
As you say so beautifully, memories become litter.
It is contrary to realize that the only way to ease the pain is to let ourselves love again.
A gentle emotion that requires all our bravery to embrace once more. Few among us can keep knocking until someone answers, but they are the ones who we envy.

There are more broken dreams than realized.

You are of an age and I know you to be insightful and wise, so this is of course not a revelation. I guess I share my words for those yet to find out this sad, (but only if ever wanting more) fact of living.

Nicely done, James, nicely done.

//Wonder what would happen if she didn`t have five months of scorpion torture?

//Yes she was so pretty
But in her heart and soul
She was so stone cold /

I so get that.

Thank you for an enjoyable read.
