SludgeKicker

Contributed by unknown_utopia on Sunday, 2nd April 2017 @ 02:19:03 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

The moon shines upon the orchard of frost
the clouds cry and a mist of rainbows
swirl and slowly flow
covering the landscape in purple haze
oblivious and numb
sludge-kicker observes from the shadows

psycho killers a classic
the first line releases the magic
ground control sends a red alert
when ypdc went silent it was dangerous
talking heads scatter
when their tales no longer matter
speculation on insufficient data
is invariably hazardous

Door mouse whispered in his ear
now he is waiting for the magic to appear....

He had to Bachman his turner
and
shift into mind meld overdrive
after devouring a James stockdale flow
on the queen Alice white
then
the verbiage from Invierno
awakens severed heads
who are talking backwards
as Muppetmans secretwind ignites
and now the under-verse explodes

Anger rises
never gonna leave a message
no one answers calls anymore

Yesterday is gone yet it still matters
Duff exposes the wicked game
forcing the anomaly of assimilations incision to stop,
Timotheus sees the indifference
and Softerwares words come alive and flows
as The ZenMonkeys buzzing euphorically,
The zepplin rambles on
it is just another day
sludgekicker goes to sleep
to dream of being awake.

This is absolutely awesome! I/'/d be saying that even if my name wasn/'/t mentioned. Thank you, by the way. Oh, and I really do see the indifference.

Wonderful wonderful wording and great flow. It started out so perfectly and enjoyable all the way through.

Thank you very much!

Tim

Howdy. I was digging your poem then did a double-take when I saw my name! Thank you for such an honor. I agree with your poem/'/s premise. I need to (and will!) make a point of Kicking your Sludge more often!

Lovely indeed...............!
I got it and I loved it and I/'/m proud of your flow and play on words. Lets call it "Pie Poetry"....... Like American Pie. If you don/'/t get it, that/'/s fine but the meaning is there and you need to get around and smell the air.............. A blend of puppet and wonderland......

Too cool

James

This has a feel of a final bow, a curtain call for one last dip in the warmth of the footlights before we must exit stage left.
Here we hold hands center stage; the performance closes. We know it is coming, we know.
How sad that we will all lose touch, and never meet. Perhaps it is better that we keep our imaginary image of one another.. Reality is never as kind.
Thank you for gathering us for one last moment that we will cling to until the tie breaks and we have nowhere to return to. I once longed to run away from home, but I have never come to terms with home running away from me! this has been home, and I will miss this place of friendship and talent. Write while you can; the curtain is closing, and we are so very late departing. softereware

A party we fear is ending. I love your mind. Dreaming rules.
