Her apartment is awake tonight
Fingertips walking up the spine
Turn around no one in the light
The floor freezing feet are blue
Body’s cold the sweater is new
The Bauhaus record plays along
Heartbeat pounding to the song
Room to room like a private eye
One two three empty closet sigh
Pockets vacant no phone nearby
Shoes by the door are not hers
There’s a silhouette by the fern
A cape stands a cigarette burns
His porcelain face made of hurt

The classic horror scene is painted here. A shadow, a cold room, and a walk through the house to check all the closets!Bela Lugosi would bow to your tantalizing appetizer tale...
Man is the only animal who likes to scare himself; kills for sport, and wages war. Makes a case for eating our young. And horror is born!
Splendid spooky little treat for a dark and stormy night.

Dracula would be proud. :) I love this haunted tale.
Who doesn/'/t love a good scare? Well done.
