My eyes swell with tears
something I read, touched my heart today
It opened up that hidden pain
that I thought had gone away

Suppressed deep inside
from a loss not so long ago
I have been living in pain
and I didn’t even know

Wandering around in daily life
just another lost sheep in the herd
My thinking has been foggy
to me, none of this has even occurred

We may think crying is shameful
but it’s healthier than you know
It opens up your heart and mind
every time you let those tears flow

There is no shame in crying
there is a beauty of it all
It’s a reaction to help you
just before you fall

Keep your memories
that are so dear to each of you
Just release the pain inside
allowing tears to flow, will get you through

I couldn/'/t agree more. There has to be some form of release from our souls. Letting the tears run rather than imploding. I enjoyed this. Well done

I also agree. Crying is release. Women live longer than men I/'/m told, because they cry without shame. We have done a horrible disservice to teach our men not to cry! There is not a more genuine insight to our true selves than when we shed tears.
Humanity comes first; gender second; Let it go.
Well said Wayne, and far too long overdue.
