[hometext] => our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them.- george eliot

::two brothers
¸¸✿•.¸¸✿¸¸
when someone dies everyone has their two cents to put in
we think of the last conversation with this lost person, again
so, i have no great wisdom, only empathy, knowledge of loss
my world and life built around losses ive learned compassion
my husbands brother died today, two brothers now reunited
he was a good guy, one of the best i knew, now with angels
dont tell anyone but i have been nuts for days seeing the six
blocks radius around that house in my head like a map, over
and over... and all day until i heard the news a wild bird kept
singing at my window on the ledge, persistent, staring at me.

I really enjoyed your poem - personal, universal, pragmatic and ethereal. Loved the start, finish and everything in between.
