with the same singing voice as the bird in *funny farm*
this little one came to my window and looked in at me
so brave, heidi dog and i sat mesmerized in his charms
full chorus symphony, verse after verse, singing in glee,
his background were leafy tree greens and bluest skies
then off he daintily fluttered, quickly as he had appeared
flying across the rose of sharon tree in the noon garden
giving all thoughts of the world- a sweet pleasant pardon.

wonderful painting.... I like the last rhyme scheme...a cool wrap up reminding the reader it is not only a wonderful, peaceful moment, but a poem as well.
Most pleasing.

Lovely indeed. I feed the birds in the morning. The other day I was out of sorts and the little fellow came to my window and chirped.. " what about me"
He looked so sad and I had to take care of him... :)
Great poem.
