A questionable process of words

Topic: oops

I keep asking myself, what is the question?
What is the burning desire scratching at my mind.
Endless wars are endless, and the blood still spills for oil.
I know those answers, Power and greed.
Lost within borders of patriot flags

Dancing within morning lights, reflecting if life is but a cosmic dream.
Take us all away.
Digital aspects of a reality that keeps going round and round.
Parading for any occasion, let the ill freedom fly.
Trust in nothing is only just a lonely life.
Seeking answers within a youtube video that ends in empty hands.
Is this all that we/'/ve become, or are we all in too deep.
Do we even worry who has their hands on the button now?

I/'/m trying to find the balance, To only find the middle ground in a one for all highway..
What is love, just another clone. A echo like the rest.
Skipping stones in these empty ponds.
Waiting to see life in the ripples of the calm.
Bring me to the highways, take me to the flames.
We don/'/t even question who rules now.
Too busy having our hands around each others throats.
Pretending we care with a a ɟacebook share.

You must have jumped into my mind. This is so good. I tell myself to keep life small, but it doesn/'/t work.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
