to the very end
you/'/re the perfect definition
of my best friend.
You/'/re sweet and understanding
to the core,
losing you
would make me sore.
You know all of me
and, I, you
You/'/re the kind of person
who makes me true.
The only person who
can make me see
that I am already
the most "perfect me".
You hold me tight
and don/'/t let me go
so, i won/'/t have to
go this way alone.
Anxiety ridden,
and full of hate
when you/'/re by my side
I sedate.
I worry about
everything in between,
but I am more than
a broken wing,
But, you don/'/t
think of me as that
I am strong willed,
I/'/m not a door mat.
You say I/'/m kind,
sweet as could be
you/'/ve already seen
all of me
You/'/ve seen my love,
and the hate
my heart,
that holds all the weight.
Our lives
are very alike,
both childhoods taken
it was very warlike.
Controlling and vicious
without a doubt,
we/'/ve both gone
a different route.
A trail that
led us together,
we/'/re of the same flock,
we were tethered.
Unconditional love
will never change,
my love, and best friend
we are one and the same

Hi there

WOW!!!!!!! What a beautiful poem and tribute to love between two lovers and friends, my daughter now 10 and I loved reading this poem. Cherish what you have many people don/'/t get to know true love.

The poem itself, constructed very well reads easy and flows well. Keep writing from the heart this is where a poets most beautiful poetry comes from. God bless

Greetings
Rus
