Oh, Mighty Sword,
one cans/'/t deny thy place

carvings and carver upon the statue that is /'/now/'/.

Oh, Mighty Pen,

doth Sword or Pen have the last laugh? [comments] => 7 [counter] => 230 [topic] => 25 [informant] => Invierno [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )

Well, it is a fact that arrows won the battle of Agincourt. The Peaky Blinders never liked pens, they didn/'/t work for them. Alexander never wrote letters that said: /'/I/'/m coming, ready or not, lay down your arms./'/ But, Shakespeare lives on, with just a quill.

Seems I was lost in the content of your poems, without comment to their style. That is the seduction of accomplished poetry.

Dear Brother

Nice very nice grate read and gets one thinking, but I like to think the pen is more powerful. Reason why I say this is both the pen and the sword can kill, however the whonds caused by the sword heal better than those of the pen Loved reading this one God bless

Greetings
Gert

I/'/d rather take up both. The pen can bring forth an idea that cannot die, but the sword defends that idea. They go hand in hand to me. Nice write on famous quote. I liked the Shakespearean wording
Hope to read more soon

I loved the style of this one, and must agree with some of the other commentators that the pen is invariably more powerful. After all, the book of Matthew is often referred to in church, less often the fact that the author of said gospel cut off a servants ear is mentioned.
