I knew something was wrong
so many emotions were
coming on oh so strong...
suddenly I fell like I wanted to belong
but
I m afraid
that I been gone so to long.

Always wanted to die alone
never wanting to let anyone know
how I felt so cold
and how my heart of stone
is really soft like jello,

my facade is dropped its gone
I no longer wanna be alone
but theres no one around
only my sorrowful tear drops
are making a sound as they hit ground.

I feel the need for someone to know
that before I go
wanna be somewhere I belong
dont wanna make any loved ones cry
just want them to be by my side.

Didnt want to share the times when I was low
so no one would ever know
about how I felt so low
and all know right now
is
dont want to die alone.

You/'/ve touched a very-human nerve there. Who would want to die alone? Touching someone/'/s hand, even on a battlefield, friend or foe, must have had some comfort.

Excellent!
I can see all sides of the argument.
To die alone can be so very sad and even the worry you leave to others that this had occurred.

From my own near death experiences. You don/'/t want family crying over you as that is not such a good way to go either. Very touching poem.

James

I think dying alone must be the worst feeling in the world.
When the light finally goes out on my life I would hope someone who means something to me will be there to comfort me in my last moments.
Certainly made me think here.

Steve
